Before the COVID Lockdown, I had wanted to try SCBC. The lockdown came and I forgot about it. There was a discussion on Nextdoor about where to get a good inexpensive haircut. SCBC was mentioned. I decided to check it out. I was there today to get a crewcut. I arrived at 2:05. Closing time was posted as 2:30. I was greeted at the door. Cory came around the corner and introduced himself. The crewcut I received over the next 35 minutes was the most considerate crewcut I have ever had. My crewcuts in the past were very fast and the cut was uneven.I could feel the clippers bouncing across my scalp. I have been to 5 or 6 barbershops over the last 40 years and SCBC and Cory is the best. This young man, Cory, stayed afterschool to take first class care of me. There was no mention of closing time. I left a good tip. I will not return to those other barbershops. I will be a regular at SCBC. You need to go there and see for yourselves. Update: 9/15/23 - SCBC is still the place I go for a haircut. There is no better care at any price anywhere else. Google asked me for an update. Here it is. There is no shop in the entire St. Louis/St. Charles area that does more for you. The haircut you receive is first class all the way. The students listen to you and deliver a first class haircut. If you do not go to SCBC you are doing yourself a disservice.
This is a great barber school. Got my haircut by Craig Henry and it was probably the best haircut I've ever gotten! He even talked me into getting a shave and did a fantastic job!! I've never had anyone shave my neck with a straight razor before but he was very professional and made me feel comfortable. He made the whole experience a great one!

Jarrad and Leah were such amazing mentors and gave me so much knowledge that I will always remember and take along with me in my journey of barbering! They were very patient with me and answered every single question I had and Mr. Price was so welcoming! I would recommend St. Charles Barber college to anyone who is considering Barbering as a career!
I haven't been to a barber in a long while and my hair was a lot to work with. Mr. Price and everyone at the college were very professional and kind. I can tell he takes pride in his work and teaching. I absolutely recommend SCBC to anyone and I truly appreciate the service.
I went here about 2 years ago after seeing a billboard w 8 cuts. I've been going back since. Everyone (students, staff, and other clients) is nice, and you get a good cut. Today I went in not realizing my time and they made sure I was completed in time. Usually, I plan an hour for a cut because they are students and learning. Thanks St Charles Barber College! I'll be back!
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! I took my son here today for a haircut and Scottie (barber) did such an exceptional job!!!!!! My son told him what he wanted and it turned out AWESOME and perfectly lined up!!! Also, Mr. Price (owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming, along with the rest of the staff. Absolutely a 5 star plus experience! Will definitely be returning! And they were playing some good jams!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING HERE!!!!!!
It’s been over a year since I got my hair cut and wasn’t sure what I needed but Jeff and Jared got me set up with the double man bun!!! Thanks for the clean up Wife is happy!!!
